1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TBF Sports ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TBF Sports is a free, non-commercial fantasy sports platform where users draft real-world sports teams and earn points based on actual game results. The Service includes features such as league recaps, power rankings, and chat. No real money, prizes, or gambling of any kind is involved.

3. Not Gambling

The Service is a free-to-play fantasy sports platform. There are no entry fees, no real-money prizes, no wagering, and no paid features. The Service is intended purely for entertainment among friends.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

5. User Accounts

You may sign in using a third-party authentication provider (e.g., Google, Apple, or email) through our authentication partner, Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree not to share your account credentials or allow others to access your account. One account per person.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including manipulating drafts or scores
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use offensive, hateful, or inappropriate league names or team names
• Use league or team names that infringe the trademarks or other rights of any third party
• Spam other users with unsolicited invitations

7. Content

User-generated content such as league names, team names, and chat messages remains your property. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

8. Email and SMS Communications

Email: By using the Service, you may receive league-related emails including weekly recaps, draft reminders, and league invitations sent on behalf of other users. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.

SMS (Text Message) Notifications — TBF Sports Draft Alerts

TBF Sports offers an optional SMS notification program for fantasy league drafts. You may opt in by providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box during league setup. Opt-in is never required to use the Service. Once opted in, you may receive text messages including:

• Draft start notifications when your league's async draft begins
• On-the-clock alerts when it is your turn to pick
• Pick confirmation messages after you make a selection
• Quiet-hours resume notifications
• Draft complete notifications

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your active draft. Typical drafts send 10–30 messages over 1–7 days.

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from TBF Sports SMS notifications. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent.

Supported carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and other major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Scores, standings, and game data are sourced from third parties and may be delayed or inaccurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Intellectual Property & No Affiliation

TBF Sports is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA, FIFA, or any sports league, team, governing body, or event organizer. All team, league, country, and competition names referenced in the Service are used for identification and descriptive purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners. The Service uses only factual game information such as schedules, scores, and results.

You may not submit user-generated content (including league names, team names, and chat messages) that infringes the intellectual property, trademark, or other rights of any third party, or that implies an affiliation that does not exist. We reserve the right to remove, modify, or refuse any user-generated content at our sole discretion.
